Prenatal counselling

Meeting your pediatrician does not have to wait for the birth. A prenatal appointment gives you the time to talk calmly through everything that otherwise comes up in a rush during the first days at the maternity unit.

The visit is for parents expecting a baby, ideally in the third trimester. It is optional, but it helps: we get to know each other, take the history, prepare for breastfeeding and plan the follow-up, so that everything is already in place once the baby arrives.

What it includes

When is the right time for a prenatal appointment?

Ideally in the third trimester, while there is still time to prepare without rushing. It can also happen earlier if you have questions or a particular history.

Do both parents need to come?

Not necessarily, but it helps: the first weeks concern both of you, and hearing the same information makes things easier at home.

What should I bring?

Your health record and any tests from the pregnancy. Above all, your questions — write them down and we will go through all of them.
